Nizhnekamsk Blood Center summed up the results of the work

Last year, Nizhnekamsk Blood Center procured 4,542 liters of whole blood, which was donated by 7,785 donors. 183.5 liters were rejected, a little more than three percent of the donated blood. Most of the rejected blood (95.7 liters) was rejected for ALT levels. This is an enzyme, that experts use to diagnose liver damage.

Blood Center issued to medical institutions erythrocyte blood components (1429 liters). In second place is plasma (867 liters), in third - platelet concentrate (48 liters).
