Pilot project in system of identifying patients has been run in RT

For the first time in the Republic of Tatarstan, a pilot project in the identification system of patients in emergency hospital of Naberezhnye Chelny has been run. The aim is to reduce the number of medical errors and improving patient’s medical safety.
On admission to the hospital for hospitalization a special bracelet with the information (name, medical card’s №) about him that printed on it using thermal printer is put to patient's arm. The data printed on the bracelet, resistant to water, detergents, alcoholic solutions, used in medicine. In addition to the exclusion of medical errors, the identification can significantly speed up the registration of patients.
