The study of population immunity to a new coronavirus infection is held in Tatarstan

Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-being organizes a sero-epidemiological study taking into account the protocol recommended by the World Health Organization in order to assess the population immunity of the citizens of the Russian Federation to a new coronavirus infection.

Data on the state of population immunity, which can be obtained during the study, are necessary to identify the characteristics of the epidemic process, develop a forecast for the development of the epidemiological situation in a particular region and in the country as a whole, as well as plan activities for specific and non-specific prevention of COVID-19.
