Summer heat is the cause of sun and heat stroke, leading to an exacerbation of various chronic non-communicable diseases. People with diseases of the cardiovascular system suffer especially in the heat; they have an increased risk of hypertensive crises, heart attacks and strokes.
The first signs of an onset of a dangerous condition during a heat stroke can be manifestations such as headache, dizziness, nausea, heart palpitations, cold sweat and fainting. In critical cases, a person may lose consciousness, and body temperature may rise to 41 degrees.
