On the International Day of Premature Babies, the Commissioner for Children's Rights of the Republic of Tatarstan visited the Children’s Republican Clinical Hospital
Today, on the International Day of Premature Babies, the clinic was visited by a delegation headed by the Commissioner for Children's Rights of the Republic of Tatarstan Irina Volynets.
The hospital administration conducted the guests a brief tour, which ended in the Department of Pathology of Newborn and Premature Babies, where guests were able to communicate with medical personnel, parents. The guests presented gifts in honor of the holiday.
- Please accept my sincere thanks for your support. Usually, on this day, our clinic organizes festive events, but in our difficult time, any events are not appropriate. In this connection it is especially valuable your care and help, thanked the guests chief physician Airat Ziatdinov.
It is worth mentioning that every year in the world 15 million babies are born prematurely – on average, every tenth child. In Russia, about 100 thousand children are born prematurely a year. About 3 thousand premature babies were born in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2019. All of them require highly qualified medical care and high maintenance of medical personnel and parents, as well as long-term rehabilitation.
