Meeting with the participation of the chief pediatric neurosurgeons of the federal districts of the Russian Federation in the Children’s Republican Clinical Hospital

A meeting with the participation of the chief pediatric neurosurgeons of the federal districts of the Russian Federation was held in the Children’s Republican Clinical Hospital.

Today, a working meeting was held in the Children’s Republican Clinical Hospital, which was attended by the chief pediatric neurosurgeons of Russia. The event was chaired by the chief pediatric neurosurgeon of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, professor, doctor of medical sciences, head of the Pediatric Neurosurgical Department of the National Medical Research Center of Neurosurgery named after Academician N. N. Burdenko (Moscow) Sergey Gorelyshev. Neurosurgeons of the Children’s Republican Clinical Hospital also took an active part in the meeting.

- Dear colleagues, first of all, I want to thank you for your participation, as a collective discussion of children's health issues is always important, and secondly, I hope that such an important meeting will be held in a friendly and fruitful atmosphere, and each participant will learn something new and important, - the chief physician of the Children’s Republican Clinical Hospital Airat Ziatdinov greeted the participants.

The guests were also welcomed by the head of the Department of Organization of Medical Care for Children and Maternity Services of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Elena Ignashina.

The program was designed for all day agenda included the following issues: the routing of patients with neurosurgical pathology in federal districts of Russia, preparation to the V All-Russian Conference on Pediatric Neurosurgery ISPN (1-5 March 2021), a working meeting of participants of the International Multicenter Study TROPHY for Intraventricular Hemorrhage in Neonates. Discussion of current results.

The working group's schedule also included a study tour of the Children’s Republican Clinical Hospital departments. The administration of the clinic acquainted the guests with the work of the structural subdivisions of the institution. The guests highly appreciated the work of the clinic and expressed deep interest in fruitful cooperation.

It is worth noting that one of the most important topics discussed at the event was the topic of the TROPHY International Multicenter Study on Intraventricular Hemorrhages in Newborns.
