In the medical hospital of the Children's City Hospital, the first stage of major overhaul has started, for which about 200 million rubles have been allocated under the republican program.

This is the first major overhaul in almost 35 years of the operation of the pediatric medical hospital. A cosmetic renovation was held about 20 years ago. There is a lot to do in a short period of time. The six-storey building with a total area of 12,990 square meters, which is subject to repair, contains an operating unit, an intensive care unit, two surgical, pediatric, pulmonology, physiotherapy departments, as well as an emergency room and a first-aid station.

Last year, a renovation project worth 15 million rubles, allocated under the republican program, was completed. And two weeks ago, we started dismantling and preparatory work. The major overhaul began with the most difficult section, on the sixth floor in the operating unit. There will be separate areas for medical personnel and patients, two large operating rooms, which will be equipped with a complex of clean rooms with an air purification system. And the most modern equipment, which will require about 200 million rubles more.

The intensive care unit will be repaired next, and then the remodeling will go down to the lower floors of the half of the building. The second half will be renovated next year. In order not to interrupt the treatment process and to make temporary inconveniences as less noticeable as possible for doctors and patients, the project of moving the departments is described in detail.

The pediatric hospital is being completely reconstructed based on modern requirements. There are also plans to repair the facade of the building and improve the area around the building. This will make the hospital more convenient and comfortable for patients and medical personnel.
