Nizhnekamsk Nursing College hosted an event dedicated to the Year of Native Languages and National Unity in the Republic of Tatarstan and the Day of the Native Language. It is the I Love You, My Native Land! Festival, dedicated to Russia's peoples' cultures.

The purpose of the event is to show the diversity of Russia's cultural traditions, whose representatives study at the Nursing College. The Festival program includes poetic works, songs, choreographic compositions, and dramatizations prepared by college students. The students, native speakers of the national languages, performed impressions. In their speeches, they talk about the beauty of their native land and their people's cultural traditions.

The participants of the Festival selected national costumes, made presentations, and thought out the musical design. All this is important for the formation of the young generation's cognitive interest in the spiritual heritage of different peoples and patriotic education.

The event initiators and organizers were Larisa Makarenko, a Russian language and literature teacher, and Reseda Sarimova, a teacher of native language and literature.
