In 2020, more than 10,000 patients were treated in the in-patient facility of City Hospital #18

In the Central City Clinical Hospital  #18 named after Professor K. Sh. Zyyatdinov, an expanded Medical Council was held, at which the results of the institution's work in 2020 were summed up and tasks for the 2021 were determined.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan — Head of the Kazan Health Department Vladimir Zhavoronkov, Deputy Head of the Kazan Health Department Gulsina Khuzieva, Deputy of the State Council, Director General of the Medical Insurance Organization "Spaseniye" (Salvation), Gennady Glushkov and hospital staff.

The results of the work of the institution were presented by the chief physician Rinat Zalaldinov. He noted that the past year was not easy for our hospital, as well as for many other healthcare institutions. But the staff of our hospital did not give up, took responsibility in the fight against a new infection.

The maximum number of calls reached up to 230 per day, compared to 70 calls in previous years. The demands on the call center and the registry have increased by 3 times.

Nevertheless, in 2020, more than 10,000 patients were treated in the in-patient facility, including 2,530 children, and 952 patients, including 561 children, were treated in the day hospital.

The temporary infectious diseases hospital for patients with coronavirus, which was opened in April on the basis of our hospital, is still functioning today.

Despite the difficult year, the institution managed to complete the construction and open the Center for Outpatient Traumatology, complete the repair works in the women's clinic and polyclinic department #3.
