Ilgiz Akhmetzyanov has been appointed to the post of Chief physician of the RCPH named after Academician V. M. Bekhterev

By order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, Akhmetzyanov Ilgiz Ildarovich was appointed to the post of Chief Physician of the State Medical Institution "Republican Clinical Psychiatric Hospital named after Academician V. M. Bekhterev of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan." The order comes into force on April 15, 2021.

He was born in 1969. In 1997, he graduated from the Kazan State Medical Institute named after S. V. Kurashov with a degree in Medical Science. In 2010, he was awarded the title of "Honored Doctor of the Republic of Tatarstan."

Dr. Akhmetzyanov began his career in 1987 as a nurse at the Kazan Plant of Radio Components. After serving in the Soviet Army, he continued to work in the Republican Psychiatric Hospital, first as a nurse. After receiving his higher education, he moved to the position of an intern, then a psychiatrist.

1998-2000 - a rehabilitologist of the Inter-district Specialized Bureau of Medical Social Expertizing #1,

2000-2001 - psychiatrist of the specialized bureau of Medical Social Expertizing #3 of Kazan,

2001-2004 - Head of the Inter-district Specialized Bureau of Medical Social Expertizing #1,

2005-2014 - Head of branch #10 of the Main Bureau of Medical and Social Expertise in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Since 2014 he served as the Chief Physician of the Republican Narcological Dispensary of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan.
