Annually every third Thursday of November in the majority of countries of the world the International Day of refusal of smoking is celebrated. It was established by the American Oncologic Society in 1977. 

Today the Republican educational seminar in a regimen of a videoconference with medical institutions of municipal unions of the Republic of Tatarstan on the theme: «Rendering of medical aid to the patients with an acute coronary syndrome» has taken place.
