Traditional Muslim holiday "Izge Bolgar Jieny" took place in Bolgar on the occasion of the anniversary of adoption of Islam in Volga Bulgaria. The event annually attracts numerous pilgrims from the regions of Russia and foreign countries.
Solemn event dedicated to Medical Worker Day took place in Medical Unit of OAO "Tatneft" and Almetyevsk. It was attended by staff, veterans of the institution and guests of honor.
Emergency paramedics of Kazan went to save people 7656 times during the week. 1214 emergency calls were registered in public places. Paramedics went on accidents 976 times, including road traffic accidents. 54 people were injured, 38 people were taken to hospitals. 5349 emergency calls were registered for various diseases, including acute myocardial infarction (58 cases) and acute cerebral circulation disorders (175 cases).
Professional holiday – Medical Worker Day is celebrated traditionally on the third Sunday of June. I sincerely congratulate all those who tied their fate to the difficult but noble profession of medical worker.
