Events to celebrate the 205-th anniversary of the founding of Alma Mater will be held in Kazan State Medical University from 13 to 25 of May, 2019.

Purposeful work on attraction of doctors of various specialties continues in Almetyevsk municipal district. The district administration together with TATNEFT solves the problem of shortage of medical personnel, introducing its own measures of social support, including the provision of housing, so the demanded personnel from the neighboring cities of the Republic and other regions of the country come to AMD.

Victory Day was celebrated in Naberezhnye Chelny. Head physician of Hospital for War Veterans of Nab. Chelny Rezada Mavzutova and employees of the institution became participants of events dedicated to this glorious holiday. All-Russian campaign "Soldier's porridge" is held in Naberezhnye Chelny more than 20 years. Enterprises and institutions of the city treat veterans, residents and guests of the city with the soldier's porridge and tea.

Annual Congress of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery took place in San Diego, California, USA from 3 to 7 of May, 2019. Leading experts from around the world participate and share the experience in the treatment of eye diseases, the anterior segment of the eye, discuss and implement in practice advanced technologies.

Ophthalmic surgeon of RCOH, Assistant Professor of ophthalmology sub-faculty of KSMA Elina L. Minkhuzina took part in the Congress and in the organization of wetlab for endothelial keratoplasty for students of ophthalmic surgeons from around the world together with leading experts from the Lions Eye Institute, Tampa, Florida. Elina Minkhuzina is undergoing training at the Lions Eye Institute, Tampa, Florida for the Grant "Algarysh".

Emergency paramedics of Kazan went to save people 7323 times during the week. 1536 emergency calls were registered in public places. Paramedics went on accidents 1017 times, including road traffic accidents.  49 people were injured, 34 people were taken to hospitals, 1 person has died. 5713 emergency calls were registered for various diseases, including acute myocardial infarction (57 cases) and acute cerebral circulation disorders (162 cases).

Nurses all over the world celebrate their professional holiday on May, 12. 

The team of "Chistopolsky CRH" congratulated veterans and home front workers who are on treatment in the hospital with the great holiday - Victory Day. Employees of the healthcare institution warmly congratulated the participants of the Great Patriotic War, expressed their gratitude and presented flowers. Veterans were very glad to the attention.

Tatarstan health personnel took part in festive events dedicated to the Victory Day.

Administration visits veterans not only at home but also in hospitals on the eve of Victory Day. The participant of war undergoing hospital treatment was visited in Municipal Hospital 5 and congratulated with the holiday. Head physician Zufer Nasrtdinov expressed his sincere gratitude, respect for the feats of arms and selfless work during the Great Patriotic War. The veteran was given a memorable gift on behalf of the whole medical team.
