Visitors and participants of Symposium have been greeted by TR Health Minister Adel Vafin. «It is very pleasant that the third symposium bears the name of legendary academician Michael Perelman − the person who was the expert during the first and the second symposiums. It is also pleasant that foreign specialists take part in the forum. It confirms the highest level, experience and traditions of thoracal surgery in Russia», − has told the head of TR Health Ministry.
Adel Vafin has expressed gratitude to organizers and visitors of symposium − the leading Russian and foreign experts for their presence on behalf of TR Government. Here at the highest level there was an exchange of opinions, new directions and methods of treatment which are used today in Russia and in Europe have been studied.
The principal of Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA) Vladimir Uiba has visited new block of the Republican Blood Centre of HM of ТR (which is under construction at the moment) within the limits of Kazan forum «Safety and communication». Health Minister of ТR Adel Vafin and the head physician of the Republican Blood Centre (RBC) of HM of TR Ramil Turaev have showed the process of construction to the principal of FMBA.
This project is unique for all Blood Service. Tatarstan Republic has been included in the program of development of blood service which funds have been used for capital repair of buildings, branches of «RBC of HM of ТR», for purchase of medical and laboratory equipment, laboratory furniture. The new block of "RBC of HM of ТR» is building now on conditions of co-financing and at the expense of means of TR budget. The opening is planned for May, 2014.
V.V.Uiba has noted high rate of building, and has expressed confidence in the fact that the new block will allow to create the modern blood service in Tatarstan Republic according the European demands and standards with comfortable conditions for donors and for employees and has wished the successful termination of building.
“Tatarstan registers such patients” – has reported the deputy minister of TR Health Ministry Farida Jarkaeva to the correspondent of news agency "Tatars-inform". 468 persons are included in this register (more than half from them are children) with 18 rare illnesses, for example idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (Evans's syndrome), disturbance of exchange of aromatic amino acids, copper, aplastic anemia, youthful arthritis, etc.
Not all patients of Tatarstan with rare diseases need treatment. Only 200 patients need medicines therapy. Preparations for treatment of such diseases are expensive. The price for one package can exceed 1 million roubles. Purchasing of medicines for this category of patients lays down serious burden not only on them, but also on Health Ministry.
«These medicines are not included into the list of vital and major medicinal preparations and the price on them is not regulated», - has explained Farida Jarkaeva.
During this year KSMU organizes the anniversary events. The most significant scientific events in Kazan will be 17th All-Russia Student's Medical-historical Conference on March, 22nd and 88th All-Russia Scientific-practical Conference of students and young scientists from March, 26 till March, 27th, 2014.

Despite of two days trip by train and tiredness, medical workers were in good mood. «We liked very much our business trip. We worked in the most interesting complex of spring-boards «Russian hills». Fortunately, sportsmen hadn’t complicated traumas. Basically sportsmen addressed with muscle strains and hurts. We had all necessary equipment. Besides, the experience acquired during Universiade has also helped in the work» - said Rishat Badretdinov, the surgeon of Municipal Hospital №2 of Naberezhnye Chelny, to journalists.

This day everybody must try to be kind and noble and make kind deeds. Kamsky Children's Medical Centre has decided to make holiday for children (patients of Children's out-patient polyclinic) from needy families.
