Safety is principal: preventive measures of STDs

According to WHO, eight pathogens cause the highest incidence among Sexually Transmitted Diseases.  Four infections: syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia and trichomoniasis are currently curable. The other four infections: Hepatitis B, Herpes Simplex Virus, HIV and Human Papillomavirus are viral natured and cannot be cured.

Preventive measures of STDs include:

• avoiding early sexual activity;
• exclusion of casual sexual relations;
• using of contraception;
• in cases of suspected STDs, accidental sexual contact, immediately contact a specialized medical facility;

• Human Papillomavirus and Hepatitis B virus vaccination.

All of the above measures will help protect yourself and partner from infections and protect health.
