Professional radiologists of the Nizhnekamsk CDMH due to modern equipment often detect tuberculosis in patients during fluorography examination. Radiotherapist of the Nizhnekamsk CDMH Liliya Gilmutdinova told about it.
“Just in 2023 due to a fluorography, our radiologists identified 32 cases of tuberculosis, and all these patients were urgently referred to phthisiotherapist and were treated at the Tuberculosis Dispensary”.
“Fluorography is available within the framework of prophylactic medical examination. When we do fluorography, we find different diseases, and these are not only tuberculosis, but also pneumonia, oncology and diseases related to bone tissue”, noted Liliya Gilmutdinova.
