Today is celebrated World Epilepsy Day, which is informally “Purple Day”. It was created with the aim of raising public awareness of the existence of this disease, reducing stigma and developing actions when confronted with its manifestations.
In honor of this event, Kazan Children’s City Hospital #8 has prepared 25 sets with gifts for young patients suffering from this disease. The kits consist of coloring books with markers and paints.
Moreover, ten small patients from large, lower-income families and disabled children will be able to undergo sleep electroencephalography and ultrasonography for free.
