Kazan scientific conference with the international involvement «Ways of evolution of methods of  nuclear medicine and the personalized approaches to diagnostic and treatment of malignant tumors» will take place from 4-th to 5-th of October 2013.

The congress will be dedicated to the most actual topics in the modern oncology – to nuclear medicine, and also to personalized medicine. Development of these directions will allow to improve considerably quality, safety, and also profitableness of treatment of patients with malignant tumors.

During the conference the following questions will be discussed:

1. Nuclear medicine development in the world and in Russian Federation.

2. Practical application of PET technology in oncologic practice.

3. The state support of technologies’ evolution in Russian Federation. Questions of licensing of PEТ – centres. Financing of PEТ – researches.

4. The organization of work of PEТ – centres (legal and financial aspects).

5. Implementation of molecular – genetic researches in routine practice of oncologic institutions of Russian Federation.

6. Practical approaches to evolution and enhancement of personalized medicine and its evolution in Russian Federation.

Leading experts of the biggest anticancer institutes and centres of Europe, of the countries of the former CIS, and also the Russian specialists will take part in the congress in the field of nuclear and personalized medicine.

Organization of European Cancer Institute was founded in 1979 in Vienna and united the oncologists and the existing professional oncologic organizations of Europe. The primary goal is to promote an exchange of experience, improvement of professional skill and mutually advantageous cooperation between doctors and scientists working over problems of diagnostic, treatment and preventive maintenance of malignant tumors and also to promote the ideas of healthy style of life.

This conference is the first with participation of OECI in the territory of the countries of members of the CIS. The choice of Kazan as the place of the first conference is not by chance. It is due to Republican Clinical Oncologic Dispensary of HM of ТR as the most active members of OECI on territories not only Russian Federation, but also the CIS countries, putting into practice  teamwork with colleagues from  European Union countries.
