Industrial pharmacists will be more in Kazan

Kazan State Medical University was approved by State accreditation of Master’s degree program “Industrial Pharmacy”. Graduates of the program receive a Diploma Certificate “Specialist Of Industrial Pharmacy In The Field Of Quality Control Of Medicines”.

Master’s students are trained in the Institute of Pharmacy of Kazan State Medical University, equipped with modern analytical, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical and technological facilities.  During the accreditation examination, the compliance of the quality of education with the accreditation indicators was fully confirmed, 100% of second-year Mater’s students successfully completed the tasks of diagnostic work.

“The necessity  to train qualified personnel in the field of pharmaceutics is due to the development of the pharmacy industry in Russia, including under the “Pharmacy – 2030” program”, noted the Director of the Institute of Pharmacy of Kazan State Medical University Ruslan Mustafin.

Full-time education for the program “Industrial Pharmacy” lasts for 2 years.

The functional of graduates of the Master's degree of the “Industrial Pharmacy” includes activities for quality control of medicines (synthetic, biological, immunobiological, biotechnological, gene therapy, radiopharmaceutical, homeopathic, natural origin and medical gases) for medical and veterinary use in the pharmaceutical industry, in organizations engaged in the development and quality control of medicines and in pharmaceutical companies.
