Check your blood pressure monitor
All-Russian Social Campaign “Be sure! Be healthy!” dedicated to World Health Day is held on April 7 to 9, 2024.
Unaltered purpose of the Campaign is to convey to the residents of Russia the importance of regularly checking the accuracy of household blood pressure monitors to prevent cardiovascular diseases.
During the Campaign, specialists of the Federal Budgetary Institution “State Regional Center for Standardization, Metrology and Testing in the Republic of Tatarstan” on volunteer basis will receive citizens to monitor the output parameters of household blood pressure monitors used by the population. Metrologists will give not only a conclusion about the blood pressure meter readings, based on the results of the equipment inspection, but also tips on repairing.
Attention! All types of blood pressure monitors (automatic, semi-automatic, mechanical, mercury), except wrist ones, will be checked!
