First telemedicine consultation in the MAX messenger was held in Tatarstan

In the test mode, a hospital specialist contacted the patient via a video call in a messenger, discussing treatment issues.

How is it organized?

The doctor marks the time of the telemedicine consultation in the medical information system, having previously coordinated it with the patient, for example, during the initial appointment.

The patient receives a link in the domestic messenger, clicking on which he goes to a video call. A doctor can remotely consult a patient, clarify his condition, and adjust treatment if necessary.

The medical institution has organized a seamless transition between the medical information system and the MAX messenger. The telemedicine consultation is recorded in the electronic medical record – all the doctor's recommendations, etc.

Telemedicine consultations at MAX are planned to be introduced in Tatarstan in the first quarter of 2026. The possibility of closing a sick leave without visiting a medical facility is also being considered.
