Depression is not just sadness. What is important for everyone to know?

"Today we want to talk about an important and, unfortunately, often stigmatized topic - depression.

Myths about this condition are still strong in our society. Let's look at a few of them, because awareness is the first step to helping yourself and your loved ones. Depression is successfully treated with psychotherapy and, if necessary, modern and safe medications. The main thing is not to be left alone with the disease and not wait for it to "pass by itself." 

If you or your loved one have been feeling apathy, exhaustion, anxiety, or unexplained physical discomfort for a long time, this may be a signal.

Don't be afraid to ask for help. Your mental health is just as important as your physical health.
