In 2026, 10,000 Tatarstan doctors will receive uniforms
As part of a project of the Government of Tatarstan and an operator company for the professional processing of textiles, a single style of workwear with different color solutions for doctors from different departments has been introduced in the republic.
A pilot project involving doctors, middle and junior medical staff of medical institutions was successfully implemented in 2025 at Clinical Hospital No.2 of Kazan and the Republican Children's Clinical Hospital. Each employee was provided with a new personal uniform, automated devices for receiving used clothes and storage systems with individual cells were installed in the clinics.
Depending on the specifics of the department (hospital/ polyclinic, surgery/therapy, etc.), different colors are used in clothing. The increase in comfort, convenience and safety was noted by all participants of the project, and first of all, by the hospital staff themselves. This positive experience will be taken into account in the further implementation of the program to provide medical personnel with uniforms.
In 2013, a single operator for professional textile processing signed an investment agreement with the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan on the construction of Russia's first specialized high-tech laundry factory.
With the support of the Rais of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, a project to provide uniforms to medical and other personnel has been implemented in the republic since 2022. 60,000 products are provided to 10,000 doctors from 100 healthcare institutions at the expense of the republican budget.
