Oral health is an important part of a child's overall health. It is in childhood that habits are formed that last a lifetime. Regular hygiene and timely visits to the dentist help prevent tooth decay, gum disease and malocclusion.

A Week of responsible attitude to oral health is taking place in Russia from March 16 to 22. It is timed to coincide with World Oral Health Day, which is celebrated on March 20. During this period, experts remind parents of the importance of prevention and regular checkups.

The basis of dental health remains simple daily rules: brushing teeth in the morning and evening, flossing, limiting sweets and sugary drinks. It is also recommended to visit the dentist at least twice a year, even if nothing bothers the child. Preventive examinations can be carried out under the compulsory medical insurance policy.
