A school for practicing physicians "Organization of medical care for patients with cirrhosis of the liver: from prevention to treatment of complications" has opened in Kazan today
. The meeting brought together the country's leading experts in the field of therapy and gastroenterology.
Diana Abdulganieva said: "To identify the cause of liver cirrhosis at an early stage is the meaning of the program. Our region is a pilot for the implementation of a primary care program for patients. The program is designed for 2-3 years. Objective: to reduce the risk of progression of chronic liver diseases to cirrhosis, reduce mortality from cirrhosis by increasing the detection of risk factors, improving diagnosis, routing and follow-up"
