Million tests a year and "smart" technology: we look into the laboratory of the Yelabuga Central Hospital
In the past 2025 alone, the laboratory staff performed 1,125,789 examinations. Just think about this figure! There is a huge responsibility behind every analysis. In this profession, you can't "roughly" or "by sight." Only accuracy, only attentiveness and the ability to analyze.
Last year, work became a little easier and faster — the laboratory was equipped with a new mindray BS-430 biochemical analyzer worth 3.7 million rubles. The head of the district, Rustem Nuriyev, presented the certificate for him back in August, when the hospital was opened after repairs. This "smart" machine does 430 tests per hour. She replaced the old device, which could no longer cope with the load. Now the results are being prepared faster, which means that doctors can start treatment earlier.
Laboratory diagnostics is a quiet but very important job. There is no direct communication with patients here, but the accuracy of the diagnosis depends on these 45 people.
