Pharmacotherapy’s stages at alleviation of brochoobstructive syndrome have been discussed in conference hall of reception-diagnostic unit of RCH.
Lecture "Euphyllinum’s role in respiratory medicine" has been read by the principal non-staff lung specialist of
ТR, chef of phthisiopulmonology sub-faculty of КSМU, Professor Alexander Andreevich Vizel. In the report he has noticed that indications for prescription of intravenous Euphyllinum were restricted by stage of emergency aid. Oral forms with slow release of medicine are considered as "alternative of the third queue" when possibilities of inhalation therapy are exhausted.
L.Ju.Kulagina, chef of clinical pharmacology unit, has noticed the necessity to take into consideration a premorbidal background because some diseases and advanced age can slacken the metabolism of medicine and increase the danger of side effects.

The experience of pumonology unit of RCH in alleviation of brochoobstructive syndrome was presented by V.I.Ilinsky, chef of the unit. In unit there are the most difficult patients with diseases of lungs. So, it is difficult and sometimes impossible to administer the inhalation therapy. This is the main cause of intravenous Euphyllinum at the first stage of aid rendering with subsequent transition to inhalation medicines.
