Emergency paramedics of Kazan went to save people 8176 times during the week. 967 emergency calls were registered in public places. 

Open Doors Day was held in Tatarstan clinics in the framework of vocational guidance festival of medicine "Angels in white coats". Students visited the Republican hospitals where they met with the head physicians and representatives of KSMU, got acquainted with the study at Medical University and work in hospitals.

Physicians examined the students in the first half of the day. Medical team included: pediatrician, endocrinologist, allergologist, doctor of ultrasound and cardiologist. More than 60 children underwent a full medical examination, more than 25 ultrasound examinations of the heart were performed.

The conference «High-Tech medical care in neurosurgery. Modern possibilities of neurosurgery. Organizational aspect. Personnel training» was held in HTMC Educational Center AMTEK- Kazan. The conference was attended by the heads of the surgical services of the hospitals of Tatarstan, heads and specialists of departments of neurosurgery and neurology.

Branch of Children's Municipal Polyclinic №4 has been opened in the residential complex "Salavat Coopere" on February 1. Deputy Health Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Fatikhov, head of Healthcare Department of Kazan Ilnur Khalfiev and the head of Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts Sergey Mironov have visited the opening ceremony. The tour for the first visitors was made by head physician of Children's Municipal Polyclinic №4 Niyaz Galeev.

Republican award "Physician of the year" is aimed at raising the prestige of the medical profession, its significance in society, stimulating the improvement of professional activities. The competition is open to healthcare institutions and pharmaceutical workers, teachers of higher and secondary educational institutions of Tatarstan Republic with at least 5 years of experience, pharmaceutical institutions of state and non-state ownership, licensed for pharmaceutical activities and worked in the pharmaceutical market of Tatarstan Republic for at least 1 year.

Scientific and practical conference "Standards of endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of the upper digestive tract" will be held in Kazan on February 2, 2019. Gastroenterologists, endoscopists, therapists and other specialists providing medical care of the appropriate profile are invited to participate in the conference. The conference will host lectures by leading experts in the field of endoscopy and gastroenerology (M. P. Korolev, Raf Bishops, V. Yu. Muraviev, E. L. Nikonov, S. V. Kashin, Yu. A. Kucheryavy, Z. M. Galeeva), clinical analysis, tandem-lectures and discussions.

The lecture was held for the students of Educational centre GUFSIN of RF in TR. Video lecture on cancer prevention is timed to World Cancer Day on February 4.

Donor Day was organized by the experts of mobile team of Republican Blood Center and Apastovsky Central Regional Hospital. More than 80 people came to the hospital for blood donation. 37 liters of blood were collected as a result of the campaign. On February 4 and 5, The patient-volunteer organization "We are together" together with Republican Blood Center of Health Ministry of Tatarstan Republic will hold a charity campaign "Andrey" to collect blood for palliative patients in Kazan.

Presidential Plenipotentiary envoy to the Volga Federal Region Igor Komarov held a meeting in Saratov on certain issues of socio-economic development of the region, taking into account the implementation of the priorities outlined in the residential Decree № 204 "National goals and strategic objectives of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2024" on January 31, 2019.
