The Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan Republic held a meeting in videoconference mode on the implementation of a vertically integrated medical information system for the profile "Oncology" and the system for labeling medicines. All regions of the Russian Federation participated in the session remotely.

Meeting of the Commission on compliance with the requirements for official behavior of heads of subordinate institutions and clearing of conflicts of interests took place in TR Health Ministry. The meeting was held by Deputy Health Minister of TR Ayrat Garipov.

Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko arrived in Tatarstan on a two-day working visit.

The introduction of a rehabilitation course for patients who have had a new coronavirus infection has started in Tatarstan. Two medical facilities in Kazan became the pilot sites for rehabilitation therapy: Municipal Polyclinic No. 7 and Hospital for War Veterans. Rehabilitation takes place under the supervision of a local general practitioner with follow-up tests and an ECG.

Summer heat is the cause of sun and heat stroke, leading to an exacerbation of various chronic non-communicable diseases. People with diseases of the cardiovascular system suffer especially in the heat; they have an increased risk of hypertensive crises, heart attacks and strokes.

The medical staff worked at the collecting hospital from the beginning of pandemic was awarded in Healthcare Department. These employees were the first who came across patients with coronavirus infection, because it was from the 3rd of April that patients with suspected pneumonia and COVID-19 were brought to the collecting department.
