Republican workshop "Interventional skills for installing a stent graft of new generation for endovascular surgeons" took place in medical unit of PAO "Tatneft" and Almetyevsk. The event was attended by leading X-ray surgeons and cardiovascular surgeons.

Training for residents of the district took place in Tetyushsky Central Regional Hospital. The ophthalmologist of the hospital Nadia Mansurova told about the prevention, early detection and treatment of cataract. 

Two demonstration operations have been performed in the framework of the interregional workshop on intraoperative fluorescence visualization of the parathyroid glands, under the leadership of MD, head of surgery, obstetrics and gynecology department of university hospital of Kazan Federal University, surgeon Sergey Zinchenko. Medicine with a fluorescent effect was used to diagnose parathyroid glands during surgical treatment.

Charity donor campaign dedicated to National Donor Day took place in Almetyevsk Blood Center. This important day is celebrated in Russia every year on April, 20. Campaign was organized with the participation of volunteer staff "Dobry Almetyevsk" with the support of the Charity Fund "Tatneft" and the portal DonorSearch.org.

Business Forum was held at the Ufa Congress hall "Toratau" within the complex of events on the occasion of the Days of Tatarstan Republic in Bashkortostan. The presentation of the industrial potential of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan was made by the heads of relevant ministries; reports about the tourism opportunities of the two regions have been presented. Representatives of ministries and departments reported on the prospects of cooperation with Bashkortostan.

Several complicated surgeries were performed together with Professor Paul Gavora for the treatment of congenital heart disease in children in the X-ray surgery department of Children's Republican Clinical Hospital.

Lectures from specialists of Perinatal Center and tours in the maternity hospital for expectant mothers have been practiced in Nizhnekamsk for about a year and a half. A short break was made due to the seasonal rise in the incidence of ARVI.

Unique operation for endolaryngeal removal of tumor of the left vestibular region of the larynx without pre-tracheostomy of the patient has been performed in otolaryngology department of Central Municipal Clinical Hospital №18 of Kazan.

The results of the Russian competition "Manager of the year 2018" were summed up in Moscow on April, 15. The winner in the nomination "Healthcare" was the head physician of Municipal Hospital №2 of Chistopolsky CRH Svetlana Malaguina.

Direct descendants of the founder of the Kazan ophthalmological school, Professor E. V. Adamyuk (1839-1906) – Roland and Barbara Closs from Austria visited Kazan State Medical University.
