Otolaryngologist Vagiz S. Sayfullin wrote a book “Native village of Ishteryakovo” in tatar. The book is dedicated to the history of the doctor’s small homeland and describes people who lived in the village of Ishteryakovo, built and developed it.

A hairball weighing 300 grams and reaching a length of about a meter was removed from the stomach of a 5-year-old girl.

According to surgeons, the girl was admitted to the hospital with complaints of nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. After the examination, trichobesoar was found (a foreign body that occupies almost the entire stomach, duodenum and part of the small intestine).   

The number of flights of sanitary helicopters in Tatarstan is planned to be increased to 160 this year. This has become possible thanks to the national project “Healthcare”. This information was given by the head of Republican Center for Disaster Medicine at Republican Clinical Hospital Marina Vorontsova.

Valentina V. Mozhnaya, a pediatric TB specialist at Nizhnekamsk TB Dispensary, has dedicated her whole life to medicine - she has been treating children for 46 years.
