The first batch of the Russian medicine against COVID-19 arrived in Tatarstan

300 packages of “Avifavir” were delivered to Tatarstan. Today it will be delivered to large clinics of Kazan, redeveloped into temporary infectious diseases hospitals. Medicine will be sent to Naberezhnye Chelny.

“This medicine should be used in the treatment of moderate to severe forms of coronavirus infection,” said Farida Yarkaeva, Deputy Health Minister of Tatarstan Republic.


The first batches of “Avifavir” were delivered to hospitals and pharmaceutical organizations in Moscow, Leningrad, Novgorod, Nizhny Novgorod and Kirov regions, Ekaterinburg and Tatarstan Republic. The medice will be available to residents of the country absolutely free of charge under OMI program.
