Nearly 800 people in Tatarstan joined medical volunteers during Covid-19

Nearly 800 volunteers in Tatarstan came to the aid of nurses and doctors without fear of coronavirus. Anna Makarova, the regional coordinator of the Tatarstan branch of the All-Russian public movement “Volunteers-Medics”, told about this at a press conference in IA “Tatar-inform”.

There are nine open departments in Tatarstan at the bases of medical colleges and schools. And they accept the help of volunteers in ten medical organizations.

“2,360 volunteers are students of Kazan State Medical University, residents of Kazan State Medical Academy, volunteer students of medical colleges of Tatarstan Republic,” said Makarova. Junior student volunteers help nurses, while senior volunteers attach themselves to doctors.
