All-Russian conference "Palliative care. Life quality through professionalism and mercy."  will be held in Kazan on September 21, 2018.

International Forum "Trends and traditions in operative proctology" took place in Kazan on the basis of Republican Clinical Hospital and Educational Center of High Medical Technologies “AMTEK”. More than 300 Russian specialists took part in the forum. The event became one of the biggest forums in Russia with foreign participants and speakers.

Graduates of Kazan State Medical University visited Kama Children's Medical Center. The clinic is a large healthcare institution of Tatarstan Republic, providing medical care to children of Naberezhnye Chelny and Zakamye region. 20 graduates of pediatric and medical faculties have visited admissions’ unit, perinatal center, advisory clinic, inpatient units. The guests received comprehensive information about the possibilities of the clinic and the needs for specialists.

The all-Russian campaign "HIV Test: Expedition", which has started in Kamchatka, will continue in Tatarstan Republic. The organizer of the campaign is Health Ministry of the Russian Federation together with Gorky automobile plant (GAZ). The campaign is aimed at informing citizens about HIV/AIDS problems and motivating the population to be tested for HIV infection. It gives the possibility to pass a free anonymous HIV test and get the necessary advice. Mobile testing stations (MTS) follow through 30 regions of the Russian Federation, covering 120 cities. The campaign will end on November, 7th in Kaliningrad.

Delegation of Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University of Health Ministry of Russia (Moscow) has visited Children's Republican Clinical Hospital. Representatives of the nursing service of the institution have arrived in Kazan to exchange experience. The guests were interested in the organization of the work of the nursing service of CRCH: its special aspects, levels of management, the organizational structure.

Emergency paramedics of Kazan went to save people 7377 times during the week. 1363 emergency calls were registered to public places. 1052 times paramedics went on accidents, including road traffic accidents (41 cases). 45 people were injured, 4 people were died, 21 people were taken to healthcare institutions. 5628 emergency calls were registered for various diseases, including acute myocardial infarction (46 cases) and acute cerebral circulation disorders (188 cases).

Meeting of the Commission of the Public Chamber of Tatarstan Republic on social policy and charitable activities was held in Kazan. The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Republic Tatyana Larionova, Chairman of the Committee of the State Council of Tatarstan Republic on social policy Svetlana Zakharova, Deputy head physician of Republican Narcological Dispensary Rezeda Khayeva, members of the Chamber of Tatarstan, representatives of relevant ministries and non-profit organizations

Labor collective was vaccinated against influenza in Republican Clinical Ophthalmological Hospital. Employees of Municipal Polyclinic №20 of Kazan held an organized field campaign for the hospital staff. Experts have noted that the timely vaccination developed immunity during 2 weeks.

Mobile vaccination station has been opened in Zelenodolsk. Everyone can pass a free vaccination against influenza. The whole procedure takes no more than 10 minutes: measuring the temperature and blood pressure, consulting a physician and epidemiologist, vaccination and obtaining a certificate about vaccination.
