Tatarstan entered the top 5 in the export of medical services
Statistics on Russian regions were announced by the Central Research Institute of Healthcare Organization and Informatization of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
Today, a meeting was held, which was attended by the leadership and experts of the Central Research Institute of the Ministry of Health of Russia, representatives of regional authorities, including the Ministry of Health of Tatarstan, as well as leading clinics of our republic.
Specialists of the Federal Institute noted an increase in the volume of medical services provided in Russia to patients from other countries. Residents of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Turkmenistan, China and India most often seek medical help. Many leading clinics in Tatarstan have previously concluded cooperation agreements with representatives of many of these countries.
The Republic of Tatarstan showed the best dynamics in Russia in terms of exporting medical services, increasing the volume of such assistance by 73% in the 3rd quarter of 2025 compared to the same period last year.
It should be noted that the export of medical services has been developed in our republic within the framework of the national Healthcare project. Since 2025, it has been replaced by the national project "Long and active Life".
The total volume of medical services provided to citizens of other countries in Tatarstan for the 3rd quarter of this year amounted to 4.89 million dollars. According to this indicator, the republic ranked 4th in Russia (after Moscow, the Moscow region and St. Petersburg).
