Over the past five years, the Republic of Tatarstan has gone through serious humanitarian challenges. The Russian Red Cross was nearby and at the same time significantly strengthened its capabilities. We have expanded the scale of humanitarian programs, strengthened our regional presence through a number of agreements, including with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, and have become a more systematic and sustainable organization.
Since 2021, we have trained 41,000 people in first aid, conducted social care courses for 2,200 people, participated in blood, tissue and organ donation, and were involved in HIV prevention . Currently, with the support of a grant from the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, we are developing a safety and health program in the educational environment.
