AIDS Day is celebrated around the world every year on December, 1. Government, medical and public figures draw the attention of the population and especially young people to the problem of the spread of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, call for compliance with prevention measures and regular HIV testing this day.

Open student forum "Let's stop AIDS together!" was held at the site of Kazan State Medical University. The event was organized by the all-Russian public movement "Medical volunteers". It was attended by students of both medical and non-medical profile.

"Round table" meeting was organized at the initiative of the head of Healthcare Department of AMD of TR HM Vera Golovina with the participation of Head of Almetyevsky municipal district Timur Nagumanov. An open dialogue with young doctors on the topic "Young professionals-a look into the future" was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The development of cooperation in healthcare with the representative offices of Tatarstan Republic abroad and in Russian regions has been discussed in TR Ministry of Industry and Trade.

IX Republican competition for the best creative work of students on the theme: "I am against corruption in medicine" is held annually among students of higher and secondary medical schools in the framework of the anti-corruption policy in Tatarstan Republic. Its main task is the formation of public opinion about the healthcare system as a social institution that seeks to overcome corruption.

Professor A. Agafonov Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital celebrated its 120th anniversary. More than 400 Republican specialists gathered at the scientific and practical conference "Agafon readings-2019: infections and somatic pathology" in honor of the holiday.

TR Health Minister Marat Sadykov met with TR Minister for Digital Development Ayrat Khairullin. The meeting was held in Health Ministry of Tatarstan Republic.
