Meet the oncologist, head of the visiting patronage service of palliative care of the СDP Alexander Andreev.
Alexander Eduardovich, a native of the Udmurt Republic, was born in the Mozhginsk district, in the small village of Pychas. In 2016, he graduated from the Izhevsk State Medical Academy and, in 2017, completed his internship in oncology. In the same year, together with his wife, who is a culturologist, he came to live and work in Nizhnekamsk.
These doctors take care of the health of babies from the first seconds of their life. Doctors are happy or worried with mothers, and if something went wrong, they fight for the life of every newborn baby.
Every year on April 5 is the Day of the Neonatologist. The Nizhnekamsk Children's City Hospital with a Perinatal Center employs 12 neonatologists. 9 specialists work In the Perinatal center – they are present during the process of childbirth, provide emergency medical care if the baby was born, for example, in asphyxia or with a congenital pathology. And then doctors observe the newborns until they are discharged home or transferred to the Department of Neonatal Pathology.
At the end of January, the teenager complained to his parents about throbbing pains, debility and numbness of the tongue. During the MRI, the specialists of the Medical and Sanitary part of the Kazan Federal University found signs of intracerebral hematoma in the parietal lobe. After consultation with the doctors of the Neurosurgical Department of the Children's Republican Clinical Hospital, it was decided to transfer and hospitalize the patient to the republican clinic.
Today, 13 neonatologists work at the Kama Children's Medical Center in Naberezhnye Chelny. Neonatologists work in two structural divisions of the KCMC: in the neonatal department of the Perinatal Center and the Neonatal Pathology Department of the Children's Hospital. So, in the Perinatal Center, these are the first doctors who get a newborn baby into their hands. The diagnosis of the child's condition and the determination of the need for treatment depend on their qualified actions.
The CRCH medical personnel have undergone the Roszdravnadzor recertification "Quality and Safety of Medical Activity". CRCH is the first medical organization in Russia to confirm this certificate, which was obtained for the first time in 2017.
Today, on the World Autism Awareness Day, hospitals and polyclinics of the republic supported the event "Light It Up Blue". During the year, there were a hundred more children with autism spectrum disorders in the Republic of Tatarstan.
On the basis of the Kama Children's Medical Center of the of Naberezhnye Chelny, a republican training video conference was held on the topic "Nursing Monitoring of the Condition of Newborns in the Neonatal Department, in the Intensive Care Unit". The online seminar was organized by the Council of Chief Nurses of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Association of Nurses of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Within the framework of Russia-wide Kindness to the Village project, the Republican Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention, together with the Medical Volunteers regional Tatarstan branch, organized and conducted an information and educational campaign for residents of Orel village in the Laishevsky district.
A delegation from the National Medical Research Center of Health studied the procedure for providing medical care to the children's population at the Kama Children's Medical Center. The delegation included the head of the Department of Resuscitation and Intensive Care of the Federal State Institution SMRC of Children's Health of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the chief researcher, Anesthesiology and Resuscitation physician, Doctor of Medical Science Rustem Tepaev and senior researcher, Pediatric Surgery physician, Candidate of Medical Science Tatiana Prutnikova. The Moscow delegation was accompanied by the chief consulting children's specialist-surgeon of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Filatov.
On April 4, 2021, Russia-wide 10,000 Steps to Life campaign will start, dedicated to World Health Day. The motto of the event is "We Are Walking Towards Health Together."
